Martin Luther King Jr. once said something really smart. He said that if things are dark, you can’t make them better by adding more darkness. You need to bring in some light. And if there’s hate, adding more hate won’t help. Only love can make hate go away. King wants us to remember that choosing good stuff, like light and love, can change things.
He’s telling us to be like a bright light, pushing away the darkness, and to use love to fight hate. It’s like he’s asking everyone to help make the world a nicer and friendlier place.
