Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. –Steve Jobs

We all have dreams—personal, meaningful ones we hope will come true. But let’s be honest: how many of us are actually working toward them? More often than not, we end up helping someone else chase their dreams instead. Why? Because it’s easier. Someone hands you a plan, gives you tasks aligned with their goals, and all you have to do is follow along. It feels safe, familiar and we get into a comfort zone.

I would like quote a message from Steve Jobs: “Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life” is a reminder that life is short and instead of spending doing things that don’t align with who you are or what you truly want?

We all get so easily comfortable with a job and work on it for years whether or not it excites us. Maybe it was because it seemed practical or looked good to others. Maybe you kept saying yes just to avoid conflict. But deep down, you knew it wasn’t right. And the tough truth is, every second you spend living someone else’s plan is a second you’ll never get back.

Time keeps ticking, and we all get same 24 hours in a day. How do we use for our own dreams or for someone else’s dreams is up to us.

Empowering Tip: Prioritize what truly matters to you.
